Who we are

One Happyworks – several personalities

At Happyworks, we are experts at helping our clients to see possibilities, push boundaries and stay at the forefront when it comes to digital learning. We challenge our clients to think outside the box. That means that our clients need to be brave, which is a necessity if you want to stay at the top of your game.

At Happyworks, we base everything we do on our key values, which means that you’ll meet a happy, empathetic, dedicated collaborative partner who values open, clear communication.

At Happyworks, you’ll find a happy crew of six people who have a lot of fun together!

Moa our CEO looking happy at meeting

Moa Alneskog

CEO, Script writer & Project Manager

Moa worships at the altar of Swedish singer Håkan Hellström, panics at the sheer thought of a snake, and believes that the Olympic Games are a sport. She also has proof that beer tasting works best with the help of a smoke machine. Don’t ask.

Moa is the ‘happy’ in Happyworks incarnate and doesn’t know the meaning of ‘too difficult’. She also expertly keeps more balls in the air than an entire circus crew.

Anders looking happy at a meeting

Anders Sällberg

Developer & Instructional Designer

Anders is a board game mad Jedi Master. If he mentions in passing that he went fencing over the weekend, it’s not a lie. In fact, we suspect Sällberg is a pseudonym for Skywalker. Rumours have it that Anders is also a bonafide barbecue master. A Jedi barbecue master, if you will.

Anders is a bit of a Jedi at work, too. Among other things, he develops and designs interactive, educational solutions that engage and challenge the user.

Axel talking on the phone

Axel Dahlin

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER & PROJECT MANAGER

Axel is a very special hybrid of a true urbanite and a hillbilly from the county of Värmland – a sociable bundle of energy who runs about seven million miles through the woods every week.

At Happyworks, Axel is your man if you want to know more about us or you have a project to discuss. He’ll be able to answer all your questions and will gladly throw in a Gothenburg joke while he’s at it.

Linnea Dunne

script writer & PROJECT MANAGER

Can you change the world through writing? Absolutely, if you ask Linnea. You’ll have to search long and hard before you find a sharper, more thorough script writer – who, as it happens, is as much of a word wizard in English as she is in Swedish. The proof is in the pudding, as she’s had two books and a large number of articles published across a wide range of platforms and publications.

When Linnea isn’t writing or copy-editing our content, she’s dancing around the streets and beaches of Dublin with her family. That’s right – Linnea lives in Ireland full-time and is proof that remote working is never an obstacle!

Hanna looking happy working on computer

Hanna Jarlängen

Designer & PROJECT MANAGER

If you’re a pun master, Hanna is your gal as she will collapse in fits of laughter at a really clever word play. She day dreams of a healthier, happier planet and is of the opinion that chocolate is God’s gift to humanity.

Colour and form are Hanna’s forte, and with her touch, any training is immediately brought to life and made into an enjoyable, wondrous experience.

Marina working on her computer

Marina Carlson

Web developer & PROJECT MANAGER

At first sight, Marina might seem cool as cucumber, but don’t be deceived! These small feet dance up to the desk early in the mornings and run with light steps towards new challenges – unless, of course, she encounters a puppy along the way, in which case she stops abruptly and collapses into a heap of ‘awwww’, like one big heart-eye emoji.

In addition to being an absolute programming whiz, Marina is Happyworks’ own back-up function, constantly with an eye on everything we’re doing and the other on what’s next. In other words, a doer who’s 100% in control.

how it started

Our story

One cold and dark February morning in 2010, four people walk into the first ever Happy office to embark on the journey towards world domination within e-learning.

They sit down at their still empty desks and look at each other, rather questioningly. “So… what happens now?!”

Lo and behold, what happened was that the number of clients grew at an impressive rate, and Happyworks established itself on the market as a happy crew, always ready and able to produce innovative, creative trainings. Proof of our success came in 2011, when we won Best E-Learning at the Swedish Learning Awards.

We’ve kept going ever since, occasionally in headwind but most often at a flying pace. We’ve grown in terms of both staff and the number of clients and productions we work with, and we’re now the go-to agency for many organisations when they need a training that goes above and beyond.
